have good advice, join www.theroyalpython.co.uk is a site specifically for royals same as this and one of our sister sites, while yes some may be able to help you here you will get more responses from that site.

also are you sure you are not confusing assist feeding and force feeding?

Bit of a royal python take over but could you describe your setup etc, temps, hide size, viv/rub size. We might be able to offer you some advice as force feeding really is a last resort.

Be VERY careful with force feeding, its not to be taken lightly. I'd attempt live before force.

However, you need to be sure that your husbandry and setup for him are 100% correct- temperatures, hides, cover etc etc.

If you are still handling him then stop that too.

Rocco (my royal) is a fussy eater too. Yours does look underweight in the pic (I didnt wanna be rude and mention it 1st post) how is the force feeding going?

Rocco hasnt eaten in close to 3 weeks but when he's ready to eat he will, afterall its only natural that hes gonna want to eat sooner or later.

Just continue keeping an eye on his weight. Hopefully he will start eating for you and fill out properly. xx

Nice corns.

Have to agree, that pic makes the royal look very skinny, but could just be the angle...
