Posted - 08/05/2011 : 16:15:16 I fed Spot in his vivarium for the first time today, he was all hidden in his hammock so I didnt want to hve to unwind him and get him out to feed so anyway, I wafted a mouse just in front of the hammock, I couldn't see anything but his tail the next thing there was a rustle and Spot flew out and struck the mouse and dragged it into a constrict. The strongest feeding response I've ever had from him, I'm feeding him in his viv from now on, after seeing the difference, will pop him in his hammock off the substrate (result). Oh right, picture thread!

Posted - 08/05/2011 : 16:35:01 Spot is just over 2 feet, its on suckers but they would no way support any real weight, if you look really closely I've drilled holes through the suckers and there is a screw holding it up and hot glue around the sucker to hold the hammock onto them. They are a great idea but the fixings are rubbish but doesnt take much to fix that. |
