Ok, sorry for the really bad pics but here is what I have noticed with my snakes.

Male, the tail stays wide after the vent, then starts to taiper further down.

Female, the tail Taipers straight after vent.

I have noticed a difference in my males and females but it's when the tail is pulled straight (obviously not in a way that would hurt the snake) and you are looking at the underneath, there is a difference in the way the tail taipers.

I will try and get a pic up later of the male and female next to each other so you can see what I mean.

I wouldn't worry about it then if you're not planning on breeding. Morgana suits her I think.
They are a real pleasure to own aren't they, make you feel so priveleged.
Aww thanks. I'd definitely recommend a pewter. Fell in love at first sight when I saw them on the Lexcorn website.

lol im sure she wont mind what name he/she is lol

and nahh not going to breed from any of mine.........just a wonderful pleasure at having them in my life lol

i love falcor, am so tempted to get a pewter myself

I'm sure Morgana won't mind being calles she too much even if she is a he. Unless of course you intend to breed her in the future?
I know what you mean though, theres a big difference in the tapering of Loki and Falcors tails. I know Falcors a male and I suspect Loki may be female but I really haven't a clue ( still refer to Loki as he lol).

yeah i get that mort, was told by the breeder it was a she, but lookin at the anatomy pics of males to females........i dunno lol

no where close to me to have her probed unfortunatly

She is a beautiful little girl.
I have no clue looking at the tail, the best and most reliable way of sexing a snake is by popping or probing depending on the snakes age.
