Posted - 02/03/2011 : 14:45:29 I put Barnaby's mouse in a bag on top of his Exo terra to finish defrosting. I think he noticed it was there, as within a couple of minutes he went from being sound asleep in his hide, to this....
"For $%#* sake! Will you put the camera down and just FEED ME!"
"Finally!"
Normally he is really placid after eating and is quite happy to be lifted and transferred back to his tank. But this was the last mouse I had in the freezer and it was smaller than usual. He definitely noticed the difference and was still in hunt mode when I moved him back, much jumpier and not happy about being handled at all.
I'm going to get him more frozen mice tomorrow so I'll make sure they are all the same size this time.
