Love your new addition. What a brill name for a snow!! I wouldn't worry too much about her striking, its normal from what I've heard. I think I've been exceptionally lucky and have 2 very chilled out lil dudes so I've not been through it myself. Out of curiosity how big is her new home going to be?
thank you :) the tank viv is 24"x15"x15" |

Posted - 11/02/2011 : 22:36:33 bought a new snake today...its a baby snow corn :) its a beauty! :) it was born on the 1st of july 2010 so is only 8 moths old! :) the sex is unknown at the moment. its eating weekly and onto fuzzies now and its also shed twice :) so all is well :)
heres a couple pics of alaska :P
this is my first young corn and any help will be greatly appretiated. the tank she is in at the moment is only temporary as i am in the process of cleaning here new hom out and 'pimping' it out :D
alaska seems to be very scard at them moment and stiked at me as i went to pic here up..i assume this is normal as she has been tripped about today and of course the new smells will be different. hope yopu enjoy the pics! :) |

Posted - 11/02/2011 : 12:05:59 Your snakes are lovely and I love the set ups. Been looking at getting those rock hide things for when my snakes are bigger so its good to see how they look in situ. Will be a definite purchase now! |

If they are they are notoriously unreliable so might be wise to invest in a couple of digital thermometers. You can get them on ebay for just a few quid each.
haha actually a nice name! :) thanks :) yes they are dial thermometers at the minute but as you said i am getting digital thermometers and they are on the way! :) |
