Quick question, would it of been better getting him used to new substrate first? Didn't think about it till after feeding

Lol,little tinker him. They don't half worry us at times,reckon they find it amusing watching us over protective owners panic over them

Your spot on there, thought he'd escaped before as not in any of his usual hides but had tunneled under this fake rock thing phew, was panicing he'd managed to get out.

I didn't bother getting my snakes used to aspen after being on kitchen roll. They got cleaned out,the aspen went in and were soon making little tunnels in it.

Preffering the new name and think it's suits what im guessing is a male, was shocked to measure him at 13" though as seems alot longer in viv.
