I went on ebay and ordered a hygrometer for his viv and 30 seconds after I commited to buy I looked over and the skin was pulled back on his head.

Well I must say since this was the first time I have ever seen a snake shed it was a rather impressive sight.

15 mins later and I now have a perfect tip to tail one piece shed:

And his color is so much more vivid now:

Before:

After:

His shed measured 145 cm 5 mins after he finished so taking into account stretch about how long does that make him?

Its fascinating to watch I know. Always wondered what it feels like for the snake?

Awesome to watch isn't it!
If you're concerned about humidity try putting his water in the warm end and you could also add a moist hide. Just pop some damp (not wet) sphagnum moss in a tub and use it as an extra hide.
They always look stunning when freshly shed.... your guy certainly does!!

looking nice and shiny now :) i keep the humidity the same in the tank when she in shed apart from il either move the water bowl to hot end or sprinkle some water around

missed out the first line for some reason it should have started:

I was a bit worried that the humidity was too low because my corn had not shed yet even though his eyes cleared 4 days ago.

it does not make a lot of sense without it and trying to edit produces a VB script error for me.
