OK so Spot my hatchie climbs everything, even sstuff he shouldn't so I blocked certain bits off so he couldn't climb and as a substitute I made a small frame from stripped, baked apple tree sticks. It did the trick but wasn't very pleasing on the eye. So I set to work on a better version. This is what I came up with:

Still using apple tree branches, stripped, baked in the oven for an hour at 100 degrees centigrade, small holes drilled for the leaves and all glued together with a special rubber adhesive, it allows it to bend without breaking and is 100% non toxic once dry. The leaves are silk, I get them from my reptile shop but I'm sure florists will have them too.
