This is the climbing frame I built for him, close to the ground so if he falls he wont do any damage, he kept climbing the runners of the door rightup and over the top going upside down and falling so that got blocked off and this is his new thing to climb.

This is the vivarium set up I have, its heated by bulb with guard and dimming thermostat, my digital thermometers are mounted on the side as I want my viv to look like a piece of furniture and not a microwave. Now its not entirely obvious (so doing its job well) but there is a cardboard tube running accross the back and covered so Spot can easily move from side to side without feeling too exposed, not that it bothers him all that much, other than his current shedding-shyness he is usually quite the show off.

This is Spot having a nosey out of the hide on the hot side, he does seem to prefer this hide but will move about between the two hides, the tubes, climbing frame and up the fake plants, thispicture was 4 weeks ago now and it amazesme how much he has already grown.

To avoid any disappearing acts into clothing, sofas etc I always put a towel on my lap to handle Spot, this is him on said towel having a litte explore.

This is my absolute favourite picture of him, just sat up there watching the world go by.

The keen eyed of you may have noticed the bulb guard holes are not exactly tiny, now I dont think he is small enough to fit through (but I've seen pics on here which may prove otherwise) but because I am a worrier and the fact he only comes out after the light has gone off (on a timer)I have disabled the timer for the light coming on and will be manually switching it on after checking Spot hasnt gotten inside the guard over night.

I hope he doesnt get in his guard, defeats the object if it just gives him a platform to cook himself on, maybe they should make them electrified, that will stop them.

He's so cute. I love the last one! My little Cleo can get inside the guard on her light too. Sidney used to but he's much too big now!!
