I picked up a cheap branch for Izzy the other week but didn't want to disturb her while she was still in blue. Finally got round to putting it in her viv today and she loves it! She's spent most of tonight exploring the new viv set up, stopping only to sit up in the branch! Such a shame that she's being fed tomorrow, I will be another 2 days without her I'm going away at the weekend too so I'll hardly see her.

Pic below for the new set up. The white stuff is just ripped up kitchen roll that I've stuck in an unused water bowl just to fill up some space as she's still a bit too small for the viv (note the old faun sectioning off some of the viv). Not sure if she'll think much of the tissue, any of you guys done anything like this before? Just didn't know what else to do with the waterbowl!

Sorry for loads of pics, she's not so nervous around my DSLR now so I took the opportunity get some good pics of her while she was exploring!

On her branch.

Peering out from behind the branch!

On the branch again, off to explore the plants.

Hiding!

Trying to get in the branch!

New toilet roll to explore!

Peekaboo!

Not sure if I'd put another big boy tank on top but I could put a couple of smaller ones up there and keep a hatchling and a leopard gecko or something... hmm, thanks for the idea! If you could find out how your friend did it that'd be awesome!

Hiya

I spoke my friend again today and its not the big ones that she has stacked, its the 45cm x 45cm x 45cm and the 30cm x 30cm x 45cm. I've got a pic if you want to see it?

Wow Izzy's just so cute, reminds me of a caramel/chocolate-hardcandy stick :D yummi.
Showed your viv to Aia, and she looked at me disapprovingly cause she want one just like yours xD

Forgot to say how beautiful Izzy is and I'm sure she'll be loving her new set up. She just looks happy in her pics - very lucky girl.

Anyone interested in exo terra vivs - see post put on by wife with prices under herp equipment. Thanks
Andy

Izzy is lovely, I love the 3rd pic where she is peering over her branch, it looks like she is saying "Oi what do you want?" lol.

Btw whoever said you can't stack the Exo Terra vivs, my friend has hers stacked, so do you want me to find out how she's done it?

Ooh good luck, sounds like christmas may have come early for you!

I just spent my lunch hour dreaming up my future reptile room! If only I had the money for a mortgage!

I can get exo terra vivs brand new as my wife has a pet supplies company - I'll get her to go to see if the wholesalers have them and price them up. If anyone is in tyne and wear we can arrange local pick up but otherwise I'll find out prices for sending them if people want to send me where they are. Example of price - we have the 30cm square exo terra viv and she would sell that for £30 not including postage. We've seen them from £38 upwards for that size.

Sounds good could you find out how much a Exo Terra Glass Viv - Model: PT2614 , I saw one on ebay for £122.40 and £11.60 on a next day delivery, So if you can find out if you can get it cheaper then £130 i will be happy to buy 2 to 4.

haha I'd feel bad taking Izzys nice big viv away from her though! I'm sure she'd hate me for it!

Haha yeah she would probs hunt me down and try to eat me if you sold that PT2614 to me .

Im after two yellowbellys but i can get the male with ease but when it comes to getting a female no one around a 30mile radius has a female yellowbelly and plus they both have to be a CB10..

EDITED : Spelling Mistake.

True, I have seen a few wooden vivs on here that are look really nice. This exo terra one does show her off as the centre piece for my room though! Looking back on it I do kinda regret not getting a wooden viv though cos I've got reptile fever now and would love to get a royal python. Unfortunately theres no space in the flat for another viv to go so some stacked wooden vivs would have been ideal . Oh well, I guess I better start look into buying my own place soon!

Thanks, I'm quite happy with the set up in there now

Yes too bad for me , Well you could sell me your PT2614 And get a Viv stack then you will have space for 2 more snakes haha jokes lol , yeah i wan't two royals by the end of the year so i can breed them in 4 years time but the morphs i wan't no one seems to have the female to it so im screwed again .

It's the big boy PT2614 90x45x60cm(WxDxH). I was quite lucky with it as a mate needed to get rid of it at exactly the same time that I wanted to get a snake! Managed to pick it up for £100 with a few extras thrown in.

I think they retail at about £160, quite pricey if you want to pick up 2 but they do look great though I know a few people don't like them; I can see a couple of flaws but I think they look so much better than regular wooden vivs. Just a shame they don't stack

Argh it's the same model im after as well i need two for my two boa's as they need high humidity and can't use a wooden viv well i can but it will just end up wraping and will rott so will be cheaper just to buy the PT2614 which will last a very long time.

Gosh you got your self a bargin I'm stunned at that your a lucky person , every where i have checked are around £152 each but i have managed to find one for £140 but i rang the company up and said if i buy two to four will i get a discount and they said if i wait until xmas to new year they will drop there prices so i think thats what i will do unless i find another site that does it cheaper.

Yes your right it does look so much nicer but even a cornsnake in a wooden viv that has been kitted up would look awesome too just depends how you would set up the wooden viv for the snakey. But the Glass tanks are more easyier to see your snake , I love the way you have set it up as well I'm extreamly jelous .
