i just HAD to post this vid up, only because i am so incredibly proud of tofs' constriction her last few feeds were poor strike and constrict so yay to tof

i was very proud indeed and very shocked, i jumped a mile as you can see by the camera movement haha

i am thinking of feeding her outside the viv from now on, mainly because she is starting to take it back into her hide and i cannot see if she is ingesting any chips she gets very excited where food is concerned so removing her from the box after a feed is going to be interesting

Tofu was amazing !! You must have been so proud and sooo shocked ! That was a fantastic coil and constrict and wonderfully caught on camera too.

I didnt realise you fed her in the viv. Do think you still have to worry about her digesting the substrate and causing impaction, even with beech chippings. its recommended to feed outside of the viv to prevent the snake from swallowing any substrate, but in my experience woodchips atleast, can be digested and passed out easily, but i may have been lucky on that one

I noticed that you feed your snake in its vivarium. Is this recommended or just preference? I was told it is best to take them out and feed them outside of their viv/ faun.

yeh im very proud of her "killing" abilities
there was a hole in mousey, but only skin deep, so blood but no guts
