In a RUB it was about 2ft long i know its a bit small for him but its the biggest they had in the shop and i even put kitchen towel on the surface and water bowl and a branch and his hide so it felt like home to him but i guess hes not stupid,
I have read a few simular things like this with other ppl on here that there snakes wont eat out side the viv, maybe he has been fed in his home for the past 2 years and likes it like that |

I'm making a little cardboard tray out of a cereal box to put ontop of the subtrate, as he's a devil outside feeding! not that mine wont feed, he tries to bite me LOL.
Can you post a pic of what it looks like so i can make one as well please thx
Sorry! I threw it in the bin as got mouse residue on it. Bleurgh.
What I did was measure it and left a bit extra on so it curved up the walls so no substrate can get in that way in case snakes decides to drag it away.
helps to remove the furniture too, maybe get some sheets of kitchen roll on the subtrate? but use a fair bit. |

Thanks for the vid Hiper, and appreciate the 'no bad language' note as well! How old is Champagne? and are those mice adults?
Thats not a problem it was my fault last time for not stating it had bad language,
Champagne is 2years old and gets fed 2 adult mice every feed day which is on thursdays hes around 3 foot and 2inches. And his poo stinks |

Btw do you always feed your snake on the substrate?
Thanks and yes i always do but i make sure he dont eat the substrate i watch him carefuly and the mice is not wet as i leave it to defrost at room temp and then feed him so the substrate dont stick to the mice. |
