I'm a wee bit concerned that it took the best part of 10 minutes to finally swallow it. He seemed to be struggling to get past the shoulders. I can only judge by the rate that I have watched my own Corns feeding and usually it takes no more than 4 or 5 minutes.
It might be an idea to come down a bit on the mouse size. What do others think? Or are mine just greedy feeders.
The mouse was side on and the front feet were pointing forward, it is actually on the small side just awkwardly positioned. Thanks for your concern though on most occasions he would have downed the mouse in minutes.
This is Spot after this meal & the rat pup he also ate just to show he isn't stuffed full.
