As a warm up to the main bout, here's me and Taggart having a game of I-Spy after his lunch.

01:06 ~ Target re-acquired but misses fact that self-strangle hold still on.
01:25 ~ Thankyou. Down is best position for ‘Down the hatch’. Slurrrp!
02:50 ~ Is this a thumb or a really big pinkie?
03:14 ~ Scritch my chin, please.
03:32 ~ Are you sure this isn’t a really big pinkie?
03:49 ~ That reminds me of a hairy thumb, wonder what it tastes like?

... Yummy, yummy, scoff-scoff.

He will sit quite happily draped along my forearm and enjoys a good chin and top of head scritch. Last week he sat for a good 20 minutes but wrapped around my neck. That was the time he went mental when I put him back in the RUB. What a tantrum.
Both Mirkey and Woody were rehomers from the Glasgow SSPCA. I got a BOGOF deal, sort of.
Those 2 movies were cobbled from a good half hour + session and he was free to go at any time. As you saw, he is well behaved with wiggly fingers. The sook at the end was him getting bored more than anything. Maybe the smell of mouse added a little.
I don't know where he got the reputation from but he hasn't tagged me in anger since getting him home. Maybe he didn't get enough attention before. Anyway, I count us both lucky. |

Despite crushing your hand and being in feed mode, was surprised just how calm he was with your wiggling fingers, you reall got lucky with him, he was the rescue wasnt he? like my ferret i got from the sspca, i hope they both escpaed , not dumped, as we both have got fantastic critters!! |

Thanks SB, I think they are handsome critters too. 
Mirkey's handshake trick seems to be fairly unique, I don't know of anyone who has come up with anything similar. Might be a Rat Snake 'thing' that Corns haven't picked up. Either way it sure adds a lot of fun to feeding time.
The strangled fingers returned to normal colour once the circulation got going again. He did have a right grip on for the full time. The chew on the thumb was more of a slow 'sook' than a bite and the mark has disappeared already.
I'm trying to borrow a digi-cam and get some decent bigger videos as this caper of 60 second mini-vids and stitching them together is a PITA. |

lol, not many snakes would do that,both are gorgeous, so, did any fingers turn blue/black?!! |
