A male is capable of being viable from about 15 -18 months old, albeit much more likely he will fire mostly blanks. A female is capable from about the same age, but the chances of being viable are negligable, but she will still produce eggs, by doing this she is putting a huge strain on her body, having to use her calcium resources, and energy, also fat that she does not have, therfore decreasing her chance of survival dramatically.
That is why its strongly advised not to do it, people do, especially if they want to beat the rush on a new morph, but then they run a great risk of losing both the mother and the young, not worth it in my opinion, but it is done.
Seeing as you aren't trying to beat the rush, its not even remotely worth the risk. |

as Hannah says really, think of it like people - a 13 year old could get pregnant..............doesn't mean it good for her mental or physical health............ |

the female does better and has fewer complications if she is over 3years old, 3foot long and weighs over 300g's 
any smaller/younger than this and she can have some serious medical issues and in some cases she could die
edited to add...
but if they are cohabited from a young age with a male then there is a high risk of them breeding before their boddies are actually ready.. which is why we try and advise against cohabiting in general |

i think people wait until the female is at least 3 i think the male can be younger but im not sure
