Hi guys just wanted to know what kind your using. Post Pic if you have any or a link thanks. I've posted this up because I hate this stat, because it always turns off and i don't want Pythonic Fireayra to get too cold.
Yeah this was bought for me, hence why i have it. |

no it wont change if he sets it so either the night eye sensitivity is right down so it doesnt activate or he sets the temp drop dial to 0. but if its going cold at night it cant be set right
which is why i said hes best off to set right dial to 0 |

Posted - 07/12/2009 : 19:48:45 i personally am currently using a Microclimate pulse, Habistat pulse, Habistat dimmer, Habistat 300w temp, Habistat matstat and aqualine on/off stat.
i think the aqualine on/off stat is fantasticly accurate, the only drawbacks are the slightly audible click as it turns on or off and the thick probe that means you have to drill a bigger hole..........but performance-wise i fully recommend them and they're usually under £20 new too |

Posted - 07/12/2009 : 17:53:32 that pic is a day/night stat so if its not set right when it goes to night mode it might drop the temp right down, dial on right is how much temp drop u want when it does to night mode, best way to over come the problem is to turn the right dial anticlockwise to 0, that way when it does to night it wont change temp |

Oh no it doesn't turn off it just gets really cold on the matts, but maybe it's cause I can't really tell the difference. Pythonic Fireayra is now home back with me, pic coming tonight. |

Posted - 06/12/2009 : 22:44:02 I have a Habistat Mat Stat for my Corn as it seems more accurate, and I have a Komodo Mat Stat for my Leopard Gecko. |

Posted - 06/12/2009 : 20:05:27 iv got the 100w matstat and it does what it needs to do - turns off when its too hot and then back on when its too cold |

Posted - 06/12/2009 : 19:45:34 I have one, the DL2ME model same looking stat as yours, and i HATE it!
Simple on/off stat is fine. get them for about £18 on 888 but if you hate them turning off, they turn them back on when the temp falls, so will be about 3-5 mins it'll be off for.
or the 100w matstat from habistat. simple, cheap and does the job fine!
