Posted - 20/09/2009 : 14:23:18 Hi,
We fed our two on Thurdays evening. Kizzy went straight to sleep on the heatmat and has pretty much stayed there ever since.
However, Ziggy was out after his feed looking for some more. His lump had completely gone yesterday, while Kizzy still has a bit of a lump.
He's poo'd a couple of times since his feed already, do you think we ought to try him with two pinks on his next feed?
Thanks,

Posted - 21/09/2009 : 12:53:37 Thanks for the help, we think we'll try him on two smallish ones for his next feed. As long as he eats one we'll be happy, just a bonus if he takes both!
Thanks again,

Posted - 21/09/2009 : 02:00:00 Exactly the same thing happened with one of my snakes over the last 2 feeds. She was eating a large pinky in about 4 minutes and had completely digested it within 24 hours and then she was charging about her viv as usual looking to come out and be handled.
For her last feed i fed her 2 smaller pinkies so that it worked out to be only about 1.5x the food she was used to. It took her just about 2 days to digest so i am going to continue to feed her with the 2 smaller pinkies and gradually move up in pinky size as required until she is ready for the move to a fuzzy.
My other snake, her sister, has just moved up to the larger size of pinkies and is digesting them in about 2 days. |

Posted - 20/09/2009 : 15:12:52 I would, once you have tried it then you can judge if it is too much from there. I like that he's active after eating, mine just sleeps and is generally lazy for the next day or two after eating! |
