Posted - 06/08/2009 : 10:57:53 I recently took an albino cornsnake from someone who didnt want it, and obviously didnt care for it too much... I noticed she has a scracth on her body and a couple of scales seem to be missing. It doesnt seem to be hurting her in any way but does anyone know of any treatment she may need? |

Posted - 09/08/2009 : 10:38:41 That's what happened when I got mine;
he has a little bit of purple showing around his head; I think its a burn from before I had him... But it seems to be disappearing the more it sheds.
keeping it clean is key don't want any infections. |

Posted - 08/08/2009 : 22:11:09 clean with tamodine or similar, twice daily if it's a fresh wound, once daily if it's not
change the substrate to paper to help keep the area clean and keep the enclosure spotless |

Posted - 06/08/2009 : 10:59:44 wait until she sheds and it may well improve. but if the injury looks angry or infected it may be worth taking her to the vets for a check up. also post some pictures. |
