Had my corn now for 12 months sheds and eats well. My issue is she strikes almost every time I try and pick her up. Once I pick her up she has no problem at all. Any ideas?

Agreed with Kellog, give us as much info as possible and we can try our best to help :)

It would be good to have more information about her John, because her behaviour could indicate stress.

Does her viv have a heatmat, controlled by a thermostat and monitored by a digital thermometer? What temp is the warm end?
What is she eating and how often?
Where do you feed her?
How much does she weigh?
Does she have hides at both ends?

If you have a look in the Handling tips you will see some suggestions about how to pick her up. It mentions a method that may help in your circumstances. It's called 'patting down' and it is particularly good with viv defensive snakes, which is what you might be dealing with.
