I came home from work tonight and Sheldon was out and about in his viv so I got him out as usual, however after about 10 mins of him being out he started doing odd things with his mouth, his tongue was coming out at the side and he was opening the sides of his mouth one at a time, I have never seen him do this before and was wondering if anyone else has had this? He was fed on Sunday afternoon as usual, he is on aspen substrate (fed out of viv) and there didn't seem to be anything in his mouth. He seemed a bit unsettled and was rubbing his face on anything he touched, he's not due to shed either so he has me baffled. All advice welcome.

Thanks

There are some on here who would consider Dave to be the 'only' name a snake should have!!

No problem. Should be OK if he's off for a kip now.

What odds are you giving that hubby will get worn down see the light and get you at least one more?

cool he just seemed a wee bit agitated and not himself, seems to have settled now and is away into his warm hide, still learning so nice to have some reassurance as he's my first and last (if hubby gets his way!!) he looked as though he was trying to spit something out lol

Probably just re-aligning the jaws after being fed. Might not have re-set them properly and is just trying to get them comfy. I doubt if there is anything to worry about.
