Just had a very strange feeding session with the snakes. Orlando refused to feed, not like him at all but he looks slightly blue so probably explains it. Falco was just over half way through eating when he suddenly spat the mouse back out! Never had this happen before, so should I treat it as a regurge and leave him a week, or try again in a couple of days? |

It was wet an soggy as they produce loads of soliva as they eat it to lubricate it up an make it slide down easier.
You don't imagine they would be such slobbery eaters since it's all nice and neat from the outside  |

I fed both of them today at tea time and they ate no problem  They both shed yesterday within minutes of each other, so will put it down to that. I gave Falco a smaller mouse than usual to be on the safe side  |

If one refused and one threw the mouse back at you I'd wonder if you had a couple of dud 'off' mice.

Just a quick update on Falco. He shed yesterday, first time I haven't noticed he was blue! So hopefully that'll explain last weeks feeding problem |

There wasn't any loud noise or anything that would upset him. The mouse was half squished when it came back out, and very wet and soggy! wouldnt call this a regurge, just spitting the food out rather than up. Would still wait a week though before feeding |

I've heard of stories like this, i believe the protocol is treat it as a regurge, hope its just a one off and not a prob x |
