My female 4yr old corn snake has had a sore vent since breeding for the first time. When I noticed it I removed the (very!) ardent male. Since then she has refused to eat anything and after bathing herself once a day (which is unusual for her) has laid 8 eggs, 5 of which appear viable and are in incubation. She looks as if she may be getting ready to shed soon but her vent still looks sore and she is bad tempered and wont eat, any advice please ??
