hi all my adult male corn has been off his food for a while which is strange enough for him but now have noticed that he is acting funny when i get him out he seems fine but if you but him on the floor he dose not move much and the other day i turned him on his back and he just lays upside down and seemed to be struggling to turn again dose anyone no what this could be to me it seems like in fish he has lost his boyancy aid any help is welcome thanks

If he is struggling to right himself that is a massive sign that something is seriously wrong with him unless you are holding him upside down for a bit before letting go, if I remember right they can go into an almost trance like state when upside down but most wont allow you to turn them upside down without a fight.

I would suggest taking your snake to a specialist reptile vet as soon as is possible, I've only seen this once in a huge Boa and it had a RI that had it on its last legs after been kept too cold for a long time.

He has a hot and cool end, cool end is 22, hot end is 30.2 he has thrived in there for ages and I have never altered a thing in nearly 2 years so not sure on what's happen thanks for your reply

Can you tell us the exact temperatures, where you have your mat placed etc, how you control your temeperatures and measure them (sorry see you have a stat)

I'm not exactly sure on his age as brought him as an adult he is in a 3ft viv with deco heat matt stat and water thanks
