I have just noticed that on my Amel Cornsnake there is a dark mark on the belly about the 5mm round. Seems may be pigmentation, but this is my first snake, and I was a little concerned. Took a picture but it doesnt seem to show well, and could not post it anyways.

It could be a poo on the way,or maybe one of its organs. No way to tell without a pic though. How far along the body is it?

I was wondering if it was poo too!!

I occasionally see dark patches on the underside of my amel stripe, I worried initially but have come to the conclusion it is just 'poop' waiting to pass down snake and be deposited, as sometimes he/she has a completely white underside.

Upon closer inspection looks natural, and internal. Seems to move around
Will keep an eye on it
