Hi,
Can they sneeze? i have heard about 4 strange high pitch noises .. sounds like a little cute mouse sneezing  and i keep looking at the snake but didnt see him make a move until he saw my ugly mug haha so can they sneeze or make noises or does my grotty student house have mice?? |

Had my boy sneeze when going up my arm,think its the hairs tickle. Also had the farting not pleasant. |

Sounds like its likely to be a dusty nostril. I was in stitches when I heard my first snake fart, it was my Royal, he is a right bag of wind. He signals that he is going to need cleaning with a audible warning siren. |

seen a snake yawn before in a pet shop .. but never my own! im probably too amusing for it to yawn haha as for the farting! i hope i dont witness this but if i do ill be laughing for days! |

Yeah its stopped now, not heard it before and put some fresh bedding in the other day so it could just be a little dusty in there, he does bury himself a lot .. ill keep my eye out now for other symptoms, Thanks :) |

They do sneeze/cough. They also yawn, fart and vomit. I think that's everything.
The sneeze/cough noise is usually them clearing their nasal passage, if its just a few its nothing to worry about, if it happens all the time then it is a sign of a possible RI but I'm sure you know the symptoms to look out for. |

sometimes they can try and dislodge dust on their nose. but listen out for wheezing as this could be a RI, there is a thread a couple of weeks ago about one snake that makes a purring noise. if it is regular and not normal for your snake and you have access to a vet i would take him but im sure some more experienced keeper will shed some more light x |
