I've had my snake for about 2 months now and it has not shed since ive had him. It said on the paper it shed a month before i had him. hes about 7 months old now...i think. i cant find the paper right this very moment. i haven't seen his eyes cloud over and his skin always looks shiny and healthy...any input would be great

hope you all had a good christmas

I chuck in a damp face cloth over one of the hides, does the trick, there are a few bad sheds about due to central heating drying the air out so it might be an idea to do something to raise humidity until after the shed as it wont do any harm.

Yea? Ive just put a bigger bowl of water for it to go in if he wants to for now as i've got no moss. need to go and find some and buy fuzzies. time to upgrade the food :p

A lot of people just leave them to it, and they shed just fine, i prefer to use an ice cream tub with damp sphagnum moss

Awww its ok. i come home last night and got him out to feed him and his eyes were clouded over :-) so hopefully should be soon. Duno what to put in there to raise the humidity. was going to put a moss box in there to help him along. What did you use?

We got Kelloggs at 6 months and were told he was due a shed as it was 4 weeks since the last one. It took 7 long weeks as we got more agitated with the wait! The one thing to remember is that they will shed when they are ready! Don't worry as long as he is feeding well and looking healthy. It will happen!
