Posted - 08/11/2011 : 20:14:58 Please help me,
I do not know if this is normal for a female snake or not,
never had any health problems with my Nagini, she is 2 and a half years old, 3 foot long, and good weight,
she shed on monday morning, I fed her after, put her back, all fine, just got her out, she had a swim in the bath and a poop, but i have noticed a little bump half way down her body, and i have felt it, and it is like a hard lump. it was not there yesterday
anyone know what this is or do i go to the vet, please get back to me x |

Posted - 08/11/2011 : 20:45:38 bear in mind that just because shes had a poo, certainly doesnt mean that the meal is digested. It usually takes about a week for the food to pass through completely. What she passed was last weeks meal. |

Posted - 08/11/2011 : 20:27:37 i normally get her out after about 30 hours when she has fed, but i have never felt anything like it before?? i thought at first it could be food, but she did such a huge poo just now (which she always does) it just panicked me, but thankyou so much for replying and for your advice |

Posted - 08/11/2011 : 20:21:59 I wouldnt panic about it just yet, wait and see what happens over the next couple of days, my first thought is its the food making its way down the snake, especially as its not been long since you fed her. To be honest, you wanna be leaving her alone for atleast 48 hours after a feed, longer if there is still a lump present. |

Posted - 08/11/2011 : 20:19:19 could it still be poop?? I have never known her to have anything like it before, thats why i'm worrying, but she has just been for a poop |
