Posted - 07/11/2011 : 23:41:42 Have to just add - although I haven't ever had any trouble with AURYN feeding, if you can get Multi-mammates, then it'd be worth a go - AURYN's response to them is incredible, he doesn't even hesitate! You could try one and see what happens - if it works then you could perhaps slowly "scent" normal mice with them to wean him on...just a thought (i know they are often used for fussy Royals) |

Posted - 07/11/2011 : 08:48:57 pretty much what GP said. The hot end temps are too hot. Dont handle the snake until 1st feed is taken. Handling him as well as force feeding is gonna stress the snake out. |

Posted - 06/11/2011 : 20:45:48 how small is the small tub? warm end temps sound a little high to me are you still handling him other than to force feed? how long has he not fed by himself? how long before you intervened with force feeding? how much weight has it lost? what's you set-up like? enclosed? hides? |

Posted - 06/11/2011 : 20:13:16 Hi, Temp is 24-32 measured with a double prong thermomiter, 1 end in warm 1 in cold, i am feeding day old pinkys once a week, n using kitchen roll. He is 11 inches long about half cm width. Hes in a small tub at min, hes so small he would get out of even a starter viv. |
