Just a quick one for you all, regarding my little fire Cat!

She was given her first 2 pinkie feed last week on the 12th, and first pooped 2 days after. It was a small bit, about the size of a 5p coin, but looked fine. Since then, each day I have woken up to a small 5p coin sized poop, today being the 4th day.
My others all tend to get it out in one, maybe a second later in the week, so I haven't had this before. I'm not too worried, as the poops, whilst small, are completely normal looking, bit of brown, bit of urates, and she's alert, bright and sparky.
She shed for me on the night of the 11th, and happily took a feed the week before, after which she pooped twice.

Temps are fine and normal, usually 28 in the hot end and room temp in the cool end. She's 4 months old on the 22nd, and on her last weigh she was 13g.

Should I be concerned at all, or is this just what little hatchies do? (I haven't had a hatchling this small before!)
Anything I can do to help empty her, or shall I just leave her to it?

I don't think I'll feed her until she's emptied herself, don't wanna pile more food on top, I'll certainly give her a few more days!

That makes sense bob! She was probably storing a bit of what remained of her first feed with me, as she went blue pretty much the day after feeding. I'll let it all get back on track and give her a feed a bit later in the week, possibly friday :)

Its probably shed related, I think the only time a snake will truely empty itself is during the shedding period, Spot just passed a whopper while in blue the other day at least twice the size as normal, other than that what goes in on Monday for instance is not what comes out on Wednesday, the food passes slowly through the digestive system and takes around a week to reappear so if your snake misses a meal its poop will either not appear a week later or just be very small or just expelling urates. Spot doesn't feed during shedding and you can notice the difference in poop for a few weeks after.

When I changed mine upto 2 it pooped twice after feeding and still does. Used to be like yours and poo just once 2 days after feed.

Weird! May be be one of those things xD Glad I'm using kitchen roll for her, sure it's more cleaning, but I can keep a good eye on it all!

I have an older snake (not quite sure of age but between 18months and 4 years) who does this. He tends to do smaller poops more frequently rather than one large one. He also tends to do them underneath the substrate so I don't always find them until its cleaning out time. I don't know why he does it but he is the only one of mine that does
