It looks like a pibkie asleep in a mummy style sleeping bag!
Seriously though, don't beat yourself up about it. As you've found out loads of us feed them when in blue,me included. You've just been unfortunate.

You're quite lucky with that regurge.
I've had to clear up a regurge after it had been inside Plissken for a day......
Not fun.

Just to echo what others have said... I feed mine when they are in blue too. Some will take others wont. You have done nothing wrong. By reading the other thread and knowing not to handle etc for 10 days you are doing all good

Yeah thats what i was thinking if a mod added it to the regurge sticky thread in the Health section it would help others out with what to look for.

Barl's a pretty lucky lil snakey to have an owner that cares so much; I'm certain she'll be fine next feed

some snakes do eat with no probs whil n shed. But dont worry about poop n puck if you think about thay are squeezing out of a skin that they have outgrown an unfortunatly full baldder, bowel n belly squeezes out too.

Thanks guys Barls eating the smallest pinkies i have so ill leave it a good ten days before having a rummage finding the smallest pinkie i have and offer her that if i can lcate some repto boost meanwhile i shall really appreciate your comments guys many thanks

Some of mine will quite happily eat during shed and others totally lose interest. Generally though if I expect a shed imminently I just skip the feed until next time.

As for the regurge, as mentioned before just leave it a while for the stomach to settle and try feeding again as normal with something slightly smaller. One of my boas had a regurge after having to make a car journey while still digesting. I just skipped the next feed and he was fine. That was several months ago and he's fed quite happily ever since.

I often offer food even when they are ready to shed. A couple of times I have had them eat one day and shed the next. Most of mine wont eat when they are blue but the 2 girls are greedy and will eat whenever they can

<---is a very flappy person just want to make sure i do the best i can by my lil snakes thanks so much for commenting i was told by a more experianced keeper earlier on that it can be risky offering food when in shed as it can cause a regurge but at that time i hadnt actually noticed the regurge Eddie eats no matter whats going on Eve doesnt eat when shes due to shed and i dont know about artemis yet shes not shed with me but i do feel better knowing shes not nessacerily in any immediate danger so thankyou ill leave her be for the next ten days or so apart from to do daily water changes as advised in the sticky

dont get yaself in a flap over it to start she prob regurged because the shed was so close, nothing uve done wrong ive always offered food even when i know a shed i due just one of them things. as for the poo, mine tend to poo after a shed anyway......

just check an double check ya temps an set up. leave her for 10 days for acids to sort themselfs out then offer food again, try to go for something abit smaller. all things being well will go down an stay down like normal. if it does carry on as normal
