Hey all,

I fed 5 month old 'Nagini' 2 pinkies last thursday evening as she was seeming hungry after 4-5 days after just 1, and I've been having trouble sourcing larger pinkies.
She disappeared into her warm hide for 2 days, when she came out on Sunday I noticed there was still a slight bump, so I left her in peace (obviously still changed her water as I do every day).
Yesterday evening she was out and about so I checked on her.
I found some poop, but also found one regurged pinkie.
Has she digested one and regurged the other? If so do I feed her as normal or wait the 10 days before feeding again?
I'm guessing that the reason she's done this is that 2 pinkies is too much? Her temps are all fine and she's always fed fine before.

Any advice gratefully recieved, Thanks!

Thanks for the advice, I've checked out the thread, some good info in there, thanks!

The temps in the faun are ok, I have a digital thermometer at the warm end and a mat stat for the heat mat. I was checking the thermometer several times a day after the feed ( I do every day, just in case) and there were no problems with temp fluctuation it was between the 29-30 degrees C mark each time.

Thanks again for the advice, much appreciated!

Actually sounds like more of a temperature issue than just the meal been too large with it been held onto for so long. They need a steady temperature (about 28-30oC) to digest there meals, if its a little lower or they sit in the cold side due to the hot side been too hot they could probably digest smaller meals but its no guarantee they won't regurge. Check, re check and then check again your temperatures.

This thread is the best advice possible: http://www.thecornsnake.co.uk/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=7792

Wait 10 days for the snakes stomach juices to recover.
