Posted - 21/08/2011 : 12:48:37 woke up this morning and my corn snake conan had escaped!! his tank door was wide open and no snake in it!!!! i am panicing as i have a cuboard that has holes in it leading under the floorboards and different places but the door has been closed!! i have checked EVERYWHERE!! and layed down some hides food every thing i just dont know what to do and i am panicing cause its the first time any of my snakes have escaped....
how long can they last without heat? how long can they last without foood? how long can they last without water? |

Posted - 27/08/2011 : 11:24:15 yes all he has been grounded i have fixed his door so it will not open again. really glad i got him home! the day i found him he spent the whole day curled up on his heat mat. and my friend found him cause she got hit by my friends bfs bike and she banged her head so i brought her back for ice and she screamed to me" cailin conans on the floor he is here"!! and i was like wow that was fast!! |

Posted - 26/08/2011 : 22:37:42 glad you found him about 2 years ago i had a baby corn that escaped, never found him ever again but one of my neighbours found a corn snake a couple of months ago but he called the rspca and never seen it again xD i have a new corn and ill post a few photos of him soon :)

Posted - 26/08/2011 : 13:38:31 Great news. What a horible feeling when you realise they have gone. It happened to me a while ago. I came in and the viv door was wide open. I freaked out for about a minute. Then I realised I had moved her to her feeding tub. |

Posted - 22/08/2011 : 16:33:16 thanks for the support as i am panicing like mad!!!!! not quite sure what to do with myself cause i really want him back!!!!!! he was my newist baby and it was only 1 month until his 2nd birthday. i have been putting down his viv with the heat mat and i have put bowls of water around and i have put flour at the doors to see if he takes any adventures up does anyone else know what i should do???
