just had jeff out for a handle and noticed he has a few damaged scales down one side. they look old a couple are just missing and a couple are only half a scale, theres nothing loose or sticking up from them. was just wondering do their scales grow back or replace when the shed? will try and get some pics later

tried to get some pics but cant see the scales clearly. theres nothing that would catch him in the viv, the damage looks old and mostly healed just wondered if the grew back an as you said they generally do. will have another go at getting pics later

Depending on the damage, it might take a few sheds but generally they do come back. It might be worth having a look to try to work out how they got damaged as well.
If you can get a couple pics, it could help others as well.
Cheers.
