Posted - 16/08/2011 : 23:39:28 just a quick tip, if it is open, make a cup of tea, no milk or sugar, stew it strong then remove the bag, leave it to go stone cold then dab on the wound, tea is a natural disinfectant, now i have said this, sales of my disinfectants will probably dramatically drop ;) but very good if you have none in the house |

Posted - 16/08/2011 : 16:58:13 if there's no swelling around the area or any discharge then that's good if it becomes open you can dab some Tamodine/Vetadine on it twice daily if it's a dry, closed wound then it may just shed out with time, you'll prolly find he sheds more frequently than usual whilst the wound is healing
having said this, it is very hard to tell from those pics so if in doubt get it checked out my an exotics/snake specialist vet |

Posted - 15/08/2011 : 18:37:34 There is nothing that comes to mind but it may have occured with the previous owner I didn't notice it when I did buy him but I can't think of anything. Will it heal ok? |

Posted - 15/08/2011 : 12:54:32 Do you think perhaps he's got caught somewhere? Perhaps it's a graze from trying to escape or from a sharp edge? |

Posted - 15/08/2011 : 12:51:03 He's in early stages of shed at the moment. Its a small black/Greyish bit on the scales the first picture shows it a bit better. It's hard to describe it really other than a kind of black bit of 3-4 scales in a row |
