Hello, i'm a little concerned about 1 of my snakes, I fed him last week on Tuesday 5th and the next day his eyes went cloudy etc.. so he was in the process of shedding, I kept check on him each day to make sure things were fine. It come to Sunday and he still hadn't shed so i got him out and handled him and he was fine. Anyway it's now been just over a week and he has only just shed. Only problem was it was in loads of little pieces.

Why is this and what is the problem?

Thankyou, James

some snakes just dont shed well. My Romeo was like that but now sheds in one piece. Took a few sheds though. What you can do is make a damp sphagnum moss hide next time you notice him going blue. This will help with the shed. xx
