Hi all can I please ask for some advice for Custard, sorry but it's quite long.
4 weeks ago she was fed as usual on sunday and she took herself off to the cold hide which was unusual and stayed there for 2 days and as normal she pooed on the Tuesday 1 poo was normal but the other was the back legs and tail of the mouse and I put it down to the fact that she had stayed in the cool end so the next sunday she was fed but I took the cool end hide out so she would have go to the warm end which she did for 2 days then she pood on the Tuesday again 1 was normal but again I found the tail and just a little bit of the mouses bum, last week fed as normal pood as normal so everything fine this week fed on Sunday pooed yesterday again all fine then I came home tonight and another poo and again part of the mouse and the tail plus she had buried herself under the substrate (I put the cold end hide back on Tuesday mornings before she starts to roam about). I'm now worried that this is regurge and not poo.
The warm end ranges from 28 to 28.5 and the cool end is room temp it normally hovers around 21 to 24, if it's really hot weather I put a fan on in the room with the curtains drawn.
At the minute she's fed every sunday on a medium mouse which weighs between 16 and 21 grams, she weighs 300 grams and measures about 38/39 inches. I'm going to miss her feed this week and I'll get some reptoboost tomorrow for her water.
Should I be getting her to the vet or should I wait and see what happen after her next feed a week on Sunday.
I took her out tonight just to check her over and she seems fine just as nosey but as soon as I put her back she went and buried herself again.
Any advice please as I'm quite worried about her.

Brilliant thank you, I have still got a few small mice left over so she can have one of those for the next few feeds. When should I cut her down to 1 feed every 10 days instead of every 7 days she's 300 grams and 38/39 inches long but I don't know how old she is.

14 days from the regurge, you can leave it longer if you want, it wont hurt. Its also worth dropping a little size on the food, one of mine kept regurging larger mice, size wise he could easily handle it, but he didnt want to, so dropped a size and that sorted it.

Hi Mikerichards thank you, is that 14 days from today or from the last feed as I was going to feed her a week on sunday which will be 14 days from her last feed.

as above, but leave at least 14 days before feeding again, also as above, its not poo, its regurge.

Hi lotabob thank you, the temps are 28 - 28.5 warm end and 21 - 24 cool end, stat and thermo probes and both hot melted side by side onto the center of the heat mat and temps are checked 5 plus times a day.

One thing to just check is your temps, probe positions etc. Regurges are a nightmare but they are easily fixed if you follow the regurge guide, its got everything you need to do.

Hi Gingerpony thank you, I have been and bought a drum of Reptoboost today and I have just made some up for her, I'll not feed her now until a week on Sunday and hopefully by then her tummy will be back to normal bless her. I registered them both with a specialist reptile vets (Chine House) as soon as I got them so one less thing to worry about and if it does happen again I'll pop her straight over there. Once again thank you.

i'd personally treat this as a regurge, i'd also try adding Reptoboost or CCF to the water

if you follow the advice on the regurge sticky and it happens again it would definitely be worth a trip to a specialist reptile vet, and taking a fresh faecal sample along if that's possible
