Tango is 19 months old. We fed him a week ago, after he shed. Since the shed and the feed last weekend, he is less sociable and doesn't come out of his hide as much as he used to before he shed. He is happy to be handled though and is alert and active. He is exploring his environment when we get him out of his vivarium. He looks heathly except he appears to have diarrhoea. He is able to control it but his stools are whitish/grey and are totally liquid. They are the consistency of say runny custard ( not that colour though).
He seems very well otherwise.Just the amount of time he is outside his hide and the loose stool
Please can I have some advice? Has this happened to anyone else? |

Runny poo is cornsnake territory, the white bits are urates, or basically wee, the not quite as runny brown bits are digested mouse, you'll also get the after the main poo braided mouse fur poops once they start eating mice with fur.
Snakes are secretive, been so small they rely on their ability to hide to stay alive so its hardwired into them to keep hidden, they explore at sunset/sunrise the most so keep an eye out at those times, through the day they mainly hide, at night they might come out they might hide, my Spot has no pattern when it comes to night time, sometimes he is out and exploring others he stays hidden but always out at dusk & dawn. |

doesn't sound anything uncommon or serious, though a de-stress week without any handling might be beneficial |
