Here is Mew today:
http://www.thecornsnake.co.uk/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=8724

When she was fed on monday (the last time i had her out) she was lovely and slim, like she usually is. Today her back end looks rather chunky, so here i am in panic mode again

She is moving more slowly than usual and arches herself when i run my finger down her tummy.
Has she suddenly become a big fat mong in a few days or is it something terrifyingly evil like a tumor or an infection or something??
Or maybe she is ovulating, even though she's an '09? (can you usually see when corns do that?)

Aaah!

When did you first notice it... Question to the more experienced members. Could it be a fatty deposit???

Yum yum

Are eggs still likely if she's only an '09?
I've given her a nice laying box, just in case!

could be eggs - some females have been known to lay eggs without having been near a male - think Matty's Henry did a few times..

Definitely female, yup.
So long as i've had her she's never been near any boys
lotabob Posted - 11/06/2011 : 16:39:35
Is she a definite she. Has she been near any boy snakes?

One super-poop later and she still looks the same
The chunkiness starts about halfway down her, and feels a bit squishy (her top half looks and feels normal though!)

My first thought was poop. I always give the tail a good look at before handling as I am sure they save it up for me

Your snake is now 20% poop!

Mine always looks very chunky before a poo, right at the bum end - I'd wait until she's blown and then see if it's disappeared! Then start to question what it could be, but in my experience it's usually a big 'un brewing!

Could be, but when she's about to blow its only the last inch or so of body that look big.
I guess it could be a serious monster poo!
zandefloss Posted - 09/06/2011 : 21:08:09
Are you sure it's not a poo in waiting?
