i've noticed something on sid's nose and i'm not sure if he's just caught it on something in his viv or if it's a start of something serious..

totally agree with eveyone else, just a rubbed off scale, possibly through some over exuberant shedding activities or from cruising his enclosure pushing to find a weak spot
no treatment needed as the skin isn't broken but if it's possible to work out how or where he's done it you could stop it happening again

if you can you may be best keeping it on kitchen towel for substrate just now so as not to aggravate it any.

Aslong as it doesnt look sore or bleed it will be fine will sort itself with a few sheds

Looks like he's just rubbed a scale off. It should be fine.
