Hey,

I just wanted to check that Kchalice is abtou the right weight??

Its the first time i weighed ehr last night...

The breeder told me she is about 3-4 months old,

Ive been struggling to measure her, i think shes abtou 18 - 19 inches long...

and weighs 24g...

Is this healthy or??

Yea i think that is just going to have to be the way, because sometimes i havent put her down and its gone all over my hands and leg haha .... core i did pick a naughty one, but its feeding day today so no more poo for 3 days yey !!! lol
razza Posted - 07/02/2011 : 14:16:20
hey lynne

oh dear... maybe we did speak to soon. i have noticed that if i get justin out and let him roam around on my bed, he does tend to poo. but if i just keep him in my hands "moving around" he doesn't have chance to poo. if you see where i am coming from.

maybe be just have to keep fingers crossed and hope she grows out of it.

lol, yea she came out last night so i could stop worrying, but she did a lil sneeze, so im hoping its only one, and i spoke too soon razza, she pooed on my bed AGAIN last night!! thats 3 pooes since her last feed core!!!

She's probably moving over to the warm end at night while you're not that to watch her. They like to worry us I think!
Mine spend a lot of time in the cold side or at the top of the viv in their vines.

Hey,

I think i had her out for about half an hour, im again a bit worried now, shes been hiding under her substrate under the cold side for 2 days now yet the temp is only around 70 - 72 degrees in the day, so surely she will want to be in warm side??

Thanks :)

Morgana is exactly the same lol, its like they sit there and concentrate, then you see their tail lift then its weyyyheyyy lol

and off for another explore

LynneM_212 Posted - 04/02/2011 : 12:24:26
Yea ill try that then thanks :)

I knwo everytime i get her out im amazed, by her colours and her belly and her tongue and scenting.. an her breathing and everything!!

My dad is seriosuyl scare of then but hes gdoing well he touched her last night, frist step to holding ehr ;)
razza Posted - 04/02/2011 : 11:21:37
try and do what i did, get her out for 10mins and then put her back in her viv. because when you hold your snake the warmth of your hands and the snakes movement stimulates the muscles which makes the snake go for a poo

you carn't halp but love them can you.
LynneM_212 Posted - 04/02/2011 : 11:06:11
First time it was almost straight away but i got her out literally just after 48 hours...

erm 2nd time.... maybe 15 mins...

Its getting longer... last night was liek 20 mins - half hour, i held her then my mum and then me... but i did feed ehr 2 pinkies this time but 2 days apart but its been 4 days now since her last feed... she pooed twice for one pinkie so still another 2 poos to come!! guarentee one is on me tonight :) fun times ey !!

i do love my snake !!! :) lol
razza Posted - 04/02/2011 : 10:58:29
oh dear she does sound like a right cheeky monkey

how long is she out before she poo's on you ?
LynneM_212 Posted - 04/02/2011 : 10:37:36
Well ive had ehr 2 weeks tomorrow, and i only put the cloth in there a couple of days ago??

The first 2 timjes she has pooed it was on me, and i put the cloth in there so she could get used ot my scent, when i went in i saw shed pooed right o the cloth!! and when i got her out last night she pooed on me again... so i ahd to get rid of the cloth becasue it was dirty !!

grrr cheeky mare she is!!
razza Posted - 04/02/2011 : 10:33:23
does she always poo on the cloth that is in her viv?

if so i would take it out as it sounds like she has associated your scent as where she likes to poo, i know it sounds silly but i really cant think of anything else.
LynneM_212 Posted - 04/02/2011 : 10:22:42
Its sooo frustrating, i got her out just after 48 hours after her first feed with me and she pooed, 4 days later i got her out again and she pooed on me again ... so when i though i was safe i wasnt, this time i left her 3 days and shed done one poo on my cloth in the tank, (that smelt of me) and when i got her out 20 mins later of her roaming through my hands she pooed on me again !!! its funny but i would really like her to stoppit now !!

and yea i will do :) cannot wait to see how quick she grows hopefully quick lol !!
razza Posted - 04/02/2011 : 10:20:05
touch wood justin has only pooped on my bed once lol! i know now that if i get him out 48 hrs after feeding and let him roam around then the likely hood is that he will poo on me lol, but if i get him out and just let him slide though my hands for about 10mins and then put him back in his viv then he normally poo's striaght away. then i am normally ok to get him out for as long as i like after that.

but like i said be for all snake are different lol, i hope he grows out of it for your sake lol.

also let us know how much weight kchalice puts on it will be interesting to know
LynneM_212 Posted - 04/02/2011 : 09:52:38
Thanks :) that was the first time i weighed her so im going to weigh her the same day every week to see how well she is putting on weight!!!

Hopefully she does :) i just wish she would get out of the habit of pooing on me lol!! not pleasant and smells soo awful lol!!
