Posted - 10/01/2011 : 16:45:17 So just wondered, those of you with corns around Nimbus's age (6/7 months) do you know how much they weigh?
I will be weighing Nimbus for the first time tomorrow (very excited lol) and just wanted to see how he compares. I will also measure him (well I will try too!!) |

It is amazing the different rates they grow. |

Posted - 14/01/2011 : 09:19:49 All corns, all snakes for that matter grow at different rates, there is no specific set guide line for size and age. i have a couple of anery motleys that are probably about 15g, and one ghost that is in excess of 40g, neither are much more than 6 months, if that. |

Posted - 12/01/2011 : 23:55:09 I just weighed my 3 wee ones, all between 6/7 months old-
Trinity- 26g Ofelia- 28g Altivo- 46g
Altivo has seemingly always been big for his age, he was eating fuzzies at the breeders whilst the rest of that seasons hatchlings were still eating pinkies, and he is now on smalls. |

Posted - 12/01/2011 : 22:58:57 Lacey is fine at that weight Tiff! She would of been one of the last clutches of the year last year! So most 2010 babies would be a few months ahead of her and believe me a few months can make a hell of a difference when they are growing!
The first 50g are the hardest to put on them and then after that they pile it on!
ALL snakes put weight on differently! I have a male who is easily 200g and a sister from the same clutch that must be 20g! Incubated the same time and same temp! Just happens sometimes!
All laceys clutch are a similar size and growing all the time and great feeders! Soon your baby will be no more! LOL

Posted - 11/01/2011 : 18:48:33 Dont see it mattering what the size and weight is so long as it appears nice and healthy, There is no scientific formula that can be applied for this. unless you count a+b+c=D
where a= eating, b=pooing, c=shedding, shall result in d=growing ]:[D] |

Posted - 10/01/2011 : 17:56:39 He looks huge compared to Lacey, she is only 4 months old but she is also only 9.5g. She looks like half the size of your Nimbus, who is only a couple of months older. Tiffany-x |
