Posted - 10/01/2011 : 15:26:39 Patrick has been with me for 13 weeks and still no sign of a shed. The guy I got him from said that he last shed early october. He has not been a regular feeder since I got him so would this make a difference to him shedding? He has fed 3 times since I have had him. I'm beginning to wonder if maybe he is an old old corn. |

Posted - 11/01/2011 : 18:55:57 looks like nothing to worry about, at that size hes a big lad so wont grow as much therefore the need to shed is over a longer period.
As far as signs of old age in snakes, other than waiting outside the post office see if its collecting its pension, I don't think there is.

Posted - 10/01/2011 : 16:29:38 The person I got him from said he had no idea how old he was. He measures 5 1/2ft so quite a large boy. He eats small rat weaners when he feels like it. It varies from 3-5 weeks between feeds. May sound silly but are there any signs of old age in snakes? |

Posted - 10/01/2011 : 15:50:58 How often he sheds will relate to the amount his eats, grows and his age. Were you given an approximate age for him at all? How big is he? What size mouse does he have when he does feed? |
