Evening folks!

Last Friday night I noticed that my snow Corns scales around his tail had become rough to the touch, and look slightly keeled, like a Rattlesnakes for example. I had him out today and it's spread to most of his body.
There's no sign of mite, either on the snake or in the enclosure.
Going be past records he is overdue a shed, but as yet he's showing no signs of heading into one.

I've tried to get photo's but have found it impossible to get one clear enough to show what I mean.

Does anyone know what could be up?

Corns do have keeled scales, they are just only slightly keeled. :)

One of mine goes rough before a shed too, he's a normal. Corns do appear to have keeled scales :3 I can see it on one of my adults quite well, it's more obvious though when he's due for a shed.

Well, this morning his skin is smoothish again and his eyes have gone cloudy, so it must be a shed related thing.

No idea, to be fair, I've only noticed it once just before his last shed. But this was literally right before he shed, soon as I put him back in his RUB he started!

Cheers for that. I thought that may be it, but I've never noticed it before!
Is it just Snows or all Corns I wonder? Never noticed it on my big guy either.
