I have just watched Patrick poop the first time since he passed the partially digetsed mouse last sunday. He lifted his tail very high so I was able to see what was going on. There was a bulge at the vent as he went and it almost looked as though he was going to push his insides out but just 2 or 3 small bloddy/poop blobs appeared. Is this a sign of constipation? And if so could i pop him into a pillow case and rest him in warm water rather than a full bath as he is very agresssive. There is no obvious bulge in his body.

Sorry I must have misunderstood what you meant. How embarrassing!

I can't say i've seen the boy bits, as you put it, before but i wouldn't think it was that what I could see. It was like a brownish swelling and the poop bits came out from the middle of it. It really protruded from the vent then went back in! Sorry for the explicit description but well needs must.

Think you'll find those were his 'boy' bits!!
