Posted - 14/11/2010 : 11:09:46 The snakes in that shop do look awfully skinny :( probably a maintenance diet. Do you know how old she is?
Most snakes will eat anything in-front of them, even if they can't actually handle it sometimes. They are piggies like that :D |

Posted - 14/11/2010 : 09:47:22 I offer keith 1 pinky and watch him eat that one. As soon as he has wriggled it down his body (you can see it moving down) and he is not wriggling much i offer him the second pinky and he takes it straight away like he does with the first. As soon as he has eaten both he goes into hiding. I knew it was time to offer 2 because after he had eaten 1 he would still be very active searching his tank, since feeding 2 this stopped. with 1 pinky he had very little bulge barely visable, with 2 its noticable. Hope this helps. |

Posted - 13/11/2010 : 12:48:51 I fed my hatchlings every 7 days and I will continue to fed every 7 days till adult, its just easier to remember friday morning is feed day. Mine were about 5 weeks when I got them and have been feeding on 1 pinky till they were 10 weeks. Keith now has 2 pinkies and will be moved on to fuzzies in a couple of weeks and frank had his first fuzzy on thursday. I haven't moved keith up as yet as he had not had as many feeds of pinkies as frank. |

Posted - 13/11/2010 : 09:10:18 if you got it on wed ideally it should be left for a week to settle in first, then feeding every 5-7 days |
