i looked at tiny just before and she had what looked like a bit of scale flaked up in the middle of her head, im not sure if its shed or something else, so i was wondering on the opinions of you. thanks

It sounds like a raised scale, it should sort itself out over the next shed or 2. In the meantime take out the aspen you have for her and put on kitchen roll until it has sorted, aspen may catch while she is burrowing.
