Hi,

My corn was sitting on top of his log last night with his mouth open. Never seen him do this before and it was only for a couple of minutes before he closed it and went off back under log. Is this anything to worry about? I checked the temps and everything is ok and he doesn't seem agitated at all.

Thanks.

Liz.

Had it gone through the shedding process recently? If it has any retained shed on its head its nostrils may be blocked, and therefore it'll be breathing through its mouth.

Temp were about 80F (warm end) - 72F (cool end)

Nothing else untoward, no mucous or bubbles, will keep a close eye on him though to see if anything occurs.

what are your temps(warm and cool ends)?
is there any mucous splattered on the glass? (it's often more noticeable on the glass rather than the side of a viv)
was there anything in his mouth?
was he blowing bubbles from his mouth or nostrils?
