Posted - 05/03/2010 : 10:35:27 I've had one for around 9 years, was sold her as a 'black' corn although by my own research i think she's Anerythristic. Other is some sort of orange corn (sorry I'm useless at distinguishing between them!) of similar age although I've only had her a year, def female but smaller due to poor care by her previous owners.
Both have been fine and became firm 'friends' after introduction although they've recently started fighting and the smaller is obviously coming off worse. Nothing majorly serious as I can see but it's not fair keeping them like this clearly.
I am getting a dog in summer so with that, my full time job and part time degree I've decided to rehome them to somebody who can spend the time with them they desreve. Both are beautiful, healthy, tame snakes but they will obviously require seperate new homes. I don't mind them going to the same person so long as they live seperate due to the fighting.
I have a 122cm (4ft) beech effect viv which is only a year old. I can dig out the old much smaller viv the newer snake came to me in also if required, it's much smaller and quite old but will serve the purpose if required short term.
If I can get £100 for both snakes, both vivs, 2 heat mats, a whole lotta plastic plants, bowl and various logs + bark I'd be happy but most important thing is they go to somebody who knows how to care form them properly and will devote them the love and time they need.
I can't post pictures on here for some reason so please email requests to me at symonds_adam[AT]hotmail.co.uk

Posted - 11/03/2010 : 20:39:46 Orange one is Damian. We were given her as a boy about a year ago by a friend of a friend. She was really underweight and had been eating about 2 pinkies a week for around 8 years!!!!! I started feeding her the medium and then large mice she can clearly handle given her size. She's put on quite a bit of weight but is still fairly slender. We found out she was a girl when she started laying eggs about 8 weeks after we got her. They were all funny looking and mishapen, only 3 looked normal but didn't hatch after incubation (I'm not even sure my other snake is a male, I thought she was female!) Lot of confusion. Anyway she's a lovely spritely girl, quite quick when being handled at times but really sweet natured. If you're serious about having her drop me an email symonds_adam@hotmail.co.uk and we can sort something out |

Posted - 11/03/2010 : 07:53:13 Thank Kehhlyr massive help. It's a size 10 shoe in that pic to give you guys some idea of size. She's a big girl and in beautiful condition I've looked after her well all these years :) No problems with shedding although the orange one did shed funny last time but I'm sure that was down to where she'd been bitten as she's always shed OK before.
