Hi guys, just looking if there is any interest in my 09 Carolina Corn. He is nearly 2 foot, eating small mice every 7 days and shedding fine.

I am thinking of selling or trading him as he is too quick for me to handle and not keen on it (skittish). I have had him since September, and my OH and i have been trying to get him used to being handled, but it doesn't seem to be working.

I think he needs to go to someone who has the patience to handle baby corns and who has more time for him than i do.

I don't want to get rid of him as he is a lovely looking snake and apart from being quick he is lovely natured, however, i don't think its fair on him.

Just looking to see if there is any interest and how much people would be willing to offer or what people are willing to trade?

more interested in a trade than a sale.. but offers welcome.

Heres some pics (he is slightly larger than these, will get some recent ones if there is any interest):

Thanks Emma

Its a shame your so far away or I'd take him up.
Handling from young is the best part for me lol.

he is only getting handled two-three times a week at the moment which i know is not enough but i am in uni in the days and work in the evenings so i just dont have the time, thats why iv chosen to part with him, otherwise i would keep him as he is a lovely snake.

Out of curiosity, how often do you handle him?
Normally regular handling will stop nearly all of the skittishness.

The only thing that will slow him down a bit is ageing, although they don't really slow down a huge amount, they just get bigger so they're easier to handle and seem a lot slower.

You will find it hard finding a relaxed young corn snake. When they are that size they just want to get away.
