Posted - 22/11/2009 : 01:03:54 4ft 4" adult female jungle corn complete with beech 3ft by 18" tank, ceramic heating, hides and twigs and lock - looking for about £250, but definitely open to ANY offers. She's custard cream with bourbon biscuit colours, splotches rather than stripes.
The main reason I'm looking to find her a new home is that I don't handle her nearly as much as she needs. (If I'm entirely honest, I'm a little bit scared of snakes.) My 13 year old brother has handled her when the family visit, and I have occasionally been brave enough to do so myself. Surprisingly, she's not even snappy when milkeyed!
I didn't really intend to get a snake, but I understand her original owner was being sent to prison, so bought her, expecting him to get back to me - but it has been two years, and she really does need more time and attention than I can give her. I don't normally impulsively buy, but this was an unusual situation. (I do own several huggably-tame lizards and spoilt-silly amphibians!)
She's a very good feeder and will accept most foods, even if they aren't quite fully defrosted - that was an accident though.
Please let me know, I would be delighted to find her a loving owner who can give her the playtimes she wants. She particularly loves digging in towels and adores her Bertolli tub. I have tried replacing it with a nice bowl, but she sulked for over a week, so I gave her the margarine tub back.
I'll check back regularly, but you can also email me: indigo_blue_fish[AT]hotmail.co.uk

Also is there a chance of any pics as well??
On a different note, have a looky at our sister site: www.theamphibian.co.uk we like our 'phibs over there. And also, float about, although we don't have a lizard specific section (yet) we have several members on here with multiple animals.
